What a home deep clean costs in Nellore, by home size and room

A full home deep clean in Nellore is ₹1,999 for a 1BHK and ₹2,799 for a 2BHK on our rate card. If you only need the hard rooms, a kitchen deep clean is ₹999 and a bathroom scrub is ₹699. A post-construction clean, which is a different and heavier job, is ₹2,499. Larger homes are quoted after a walk-through.

Machines, chemicals and the team are included. You supply water and a power point. There is no extra charge for materials.

What the price does and does not include

Included: fans, lights, walls spot-cleaned, windows and grills inside, wardrobe and cupboard exteriors, kitchen and bathroom as above, floors vacuumed, scrubbed and mopped, balcony and utility.

Not included, and priced separately if you want them: sofa, mattress and carpet shampooing (a different service with its own machine), pest control, painting or wall repair, the overhead tank and sump, exterior walls and the terrace. Insides of wardrobes are done if you empty them; otherwise the outsides.

What changes a quote for a larger home

For a 3BHK, a duplex or an independent house, the quote is based on:

• Number of rooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms are the slowest rooms in the house — descaling takes time — so a home with three bathrooms costs more than one with two, even with the same floor area.
• Floors and stairs. A duplex means staircases, landings and more railings.
• Condition. A house cleaned six months ago is a different job from one empty for a year or fresh from the painter. If it has been a long time, say so; the quote is more accurate and the team brings enough people.
• Furnished or empty. Empty is faster. Heavily furnished means moving and covering things.
• Special surfaces. Marble or granite floors, wooden flooring, a lot of glass — they take care and the right products.

You get the figure before the work starts, in writing, and it does not move once the team is in the house.

Getting the most out of the visit

A deep clean is paid by the job, not the hour, but the team's time is what it is. These help them spend it on the cleaning:

1. Clear counters, and empty the kitchen cabinets if you want the insides done.
2. Put valuables, papers and medicines away.
3. Strip the beds.
4. Make sure the tank is full and the taps in every wet area work.
5. Walk the supervisor through and point out the things you care most about — the chimney, the bathroom scale, the behind-the-fridge — so they are done first and done well.
6. Do the final walk-through before the team packs up, not after.

When it is worth paying for the whole house

Book the full home when: you are moving in or out; it is the post-monsoon reset; there is a musty smell you cannot place; or it has been more than a year. Book kitchen and bathroom only when the rest of the house is kept up weekly and those two are where the grease and scale have built. Book post-construction, not a full home, if there has been any civil or painting work — a standard clean will not get cement dust off walls and out of tracks, and you will end up booking twice.
