How a booking with Intifix works, and where the responsibilities sit.
Last updated 19 August 2026. Written in plain English on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us before you book.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Intifix is a home-services business based in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. We take bookings for appliance, plumbing, electrical, cleaning and related work, and send a verified technician from our network to do it.
These terms apply to every booking made through intifix.com, by WhatsApp, or by phone. Booking a service means you accept them. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you book — the contact details are at the end.
2. What Intifix does, and what technicians are
Intifix takes your booking, confirms it with you, assigns a technician, issues the invoice, and stands behind the service with the warranty in section 6.
Technicians on Intifix are independent professionals. We verify their identity and trade before they join our network and we route work to them; they are not Intifix employees unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
The service you receive is the one described on your Intifix invoice. Anything you arrange with a technician directly — additional work, a separate job, a cash deal — is outside Intifix and outside these terms.
3. Bookings and confirmation
A booking on the site or on WhatsApp is a request. It becomes a confirmed booking when our executive calls you back — normally within 15 minutes — and agrees the slot with you.
We may decline or reschedule a booking if the job is outside what we do, outside our service area, or if a suitable technician is not available. We will tell you as soon as we know.
Give us accurate details: the appliance, the fault, your address and a mobile number we can reach. An adult (18+) must be present at the premises for the visit.
4. Prices, quotes and payment
The rate card on the site covers the visit and standard labour. Parts are extra, charged at MRP, and shown to you before they are fitted.
After diagnosing the fault the technician gives you a written quote for the work. Work starts only after you approve it. If the job turns out smaller than quoted, you pay the smaller amount.
If you decline the quote after diagnosis, only the visit or diagnosis charge shown on the rate card is payable.
There is no advance payment. You pay after the work is done and you have checked it, against an Intifix invoice. Please do not pay a technician for anything that is not on that invoice — Intifix cannot stand behind it.
5. Cancelling or rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule free of charge any time before the technician is dispatched. Call or WhatsApp us.
If the technician has already reached your premises and the visit is cancelled, or nobody is available to let them in, the visit charge on the rate card may apply.
6. The 30-day warranty
Every repair invoiced by Intifix carries a 30-day warranty on the same fault: if the fault we fixed comes back within 30 days of the invoice date, we come back and put it right free of charge, including any part we fitted.
The warranty covers the specific repair on the invoice. It does not cover: a different fault; damage from misuse, power surges, water ingress or accidents; tampering or work by anyone else after our visit; parts you supplied yourself; consumables such as filters, gas top-ups or bulbs beyond their normal life; or appliances the manufacturer no longer supports where a replacement part cannot be sourced.
To claim, call or WhatsApp us with your invoice number within the 30 days. Please do not have someone else attempt the repair first — that ends the warranty.
7. What we ask of you
- Give the technician safe access to the appliance and the working area, with power and water available where the job needs them.
- Tell us about anything hazardous at the premises — exposed wiring, gas, structural problems, aggressive pets.
- Keep valuables secure. Our technicians are verified, but this is good practice with anyone working in your home.
- Do not ask the technician to do work outside the booking. Book it with us instead so it is invoiced and covered.
8. Technicians' responsibility, and the limits of ours
Each technician is an independent professional and is wholly responsible for their own acts and omissions while at your premises — including their conduct, their compliance with the law, and any work or arrangement you make with them directly outside an Intifix booking.
Intifix's responsibility is for the service booked and invoiced through Intifix, as set out in these terms and the warranty in section 6. Intifix is not liable for anything beyond that service — including work a technician does for you off-platform, payments you make directly to a technician that are not on an Intifix invoice, or loss arising from matters unrelated to the service we provided.
This does not mean we walk away. If a technician behaves improperly, tell us straight away: we investigate, act on it, and remove people from our network when that is warranted. We would rather hear about a problem the same day than never.
9. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Intifix's total liability arising from any booking is limited to the amount you paid Intifix for that booking.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example spoiled food after a refrigerator repair, lost business, or the cost of alternative arrangements — except where the law does not allow that liability to be limited.
Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
10. Your information
To deliver the service we collect your name, mobile number, address, the details of the job, and any photos you attach. We use them to confirm, schedule and carry out the booking, to honour the warranty, and to contact you about it.
We share your details with the technician assigned to your job — no more than they need to do it — and with the services we use to store bookings and send us email. We do not sell your information.
Photos you attach are stored privately and are visible only to Intifix staff and the assigned technician. Ask us at any time to see or delete what we hold about you.
11. Complaints, disputes and changes
If something is not right, tell us first — call or WhatsApp the number on the site, or email us. We respond within two working days and aim to resolve any complaint within seven.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that we cannot resolve between us is subject to the courts at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed; the version in force is the one published when you booked.
