Privacy policy
What we know about you, and what we do with it.
Last updated 4 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Intifix is a home-services business in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh, and intifix.com is its website. This policy explains what we collect about you, why, who sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do.
It covers customers, technicians who apply to or work with Intifix, and anyone who contacts us. Our legal name, our address and the person who answers for this policy are at the end of this page.
2. What we collect when you book
- Your name and mobile number.
- Your address, with the village or area and the PIN code.
- Your phone's location, only if you choose to share it to place the pin.
- What needs fixing: the service, the appliance, the fault, and any photos you attach.
- The record of the booking: when it was made, the technician we sent, the quote, your approval, the invoice, how you paid, any tip, and anything you tell us about a payment.
- Your answers when we ask how the visit went, and the language you read the site in.
- If you switch on notifications, the address your browser gives us for sending them.
We keep your bookings together as one household record, with any appliances we have serviced for you, any care plan you hold and any notes our office adds, so that we can remind you when a service is due and so that whoever answers your call can see what has been done before.
3. What a technician records at your home
- Photographs of the appliance and the work, before and after, a photo of the receipt for any part they buy, and, if nobody answers, a photo at your door to show they came.
- The times they set out, arrived, started and finished, and the checks they complete before closing the job.
- Every time a technician asks to see your phone number, we record who asked, for which job and when.
Technicians are told to photograph the appliance and the work, not people. If a photo shows you or your family, tell us and we will delete it.
4. What we collect from technicians
- Name, mobile numbers, village and PIN code, trades, experience, whether they have their own tools and a vehicle, where they have worked, and the PIN codes of the area they work in.
- A photo of an identity document, a photo of their face, and any trade certificate they choose to send. For the identity document we record which kind it is, never its number, and we accept an Aadhaar card only with the number masked.
- The names and phone numbers of two people who know their work, whom we call as references.
- How long the application form took to fill in, which helps us spot fake applications.
- Which version of the technician agreement they accepted, and when.
- Their jobs, bills, payouts, grade and the feedback customers give about them, and their notification address.
5. On the website
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.
To see where people give up on the booking form, we count how far each visit gets, under a random number made for that visit. No name, phone number or address is part of it.
Your phone keeps a short list of your recent bookings so that you can find the link to them again. It stays on your phone, and a finished booking drops off the list a day after it is done.
We do not show advertising, and we use no advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
6. Why we use it
- To take your booking, send a technician and keep you updated.
- To price the work, issue the invoice, take payment and honour the 30-day return visit.
- To pay and grade technicians, and to act on complaints about them.
- To keep the tax and accounting records the law requires.
- To stop fraud and misuse of the site.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. By booking, you agree to this use. Sharing your location, switching on notifications and attaching photos are optional, and you can withdraw any of them at any time.
8. How long we keep it
- Photos from a finished job: 180 days after it is done. Receipts for parts: 365 days. Photos from a cancelled booking: 30 days.
- Photos you attach when booking: 180 days after the job is done, or 30 days after a cancellation.
- Bookings, invoices and payments: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Booking-form counts: 90 days.
- A technician's documents: if an application is turned down or withdrawn, the office clears them 90 days after that decision. If the technician joins, they stay on file for as long as the technician works with Intifix.
- If we block an applicant, we keep their mobile number and the reason, so that the same number cannot apply again.
- Anything our office removes can be restored for 30 days and is then deleted. Our weekly backup copies are deleted after eight weeks.
- Notification addresses: until you switch notifications off or your browser withdraws them.
9. Your choices
- Ask to see what we hold about you, and to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, except records the law makes us keep, such as invoices, and anything needed for an open complaint or return visit.
- Switch off notifications in your browser, or ask us to stop service reminders.
To ask, contact our Grievance Officer through the details at the end of this page. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and answer within one month.
10. Children
Intifix serves adults. A booking must be made by an adult, and an adult must be at home during the visit. We do not knowingly collect children's details.
11. How we protect it
- Each person who signs in sees only what their role needs, and the database enforces it.
- Photos and documents are stored privately. Only our office staff can open them, and the technician assigned to a job can open that job's photos.
- The link to your booking works like a key: anyone who has it can open that booking. Share it only with people you trust.
- We never ask for or store card or bank details. UPI payments happen in your own UPI app.
- If a breach puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
12. Changes and complaints
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
If you have a concern about your information, tell our Grievance Officer first. Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
